Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas North and Central Europe the best place to work.
The service department of Vestas Sweden is responsible for the service and maintenance of primarily wind turbines in Sweden. The area is supervised by an Area Manager to whom the Senior Team Lead will report and as a Senior Team Lead you will be the immediate manager for a group of 5-7 Team Leaders in the North region who are responsible for between 20-30 Service Technicians each. Responsibilities
As a Senior Team Lead, you are responsible for supervising the performance and reporting for your area. Coordinating both operational and management aspects cross-functionally to improve both customer and employee experience is expected. Preparing for the future as well as ensuring performance and a professional mindset in the team today is required for achieving your goals in this role.
As a Senior Team Lead North Sweden you will be responsible for carrying out the company strategy in the North Area. You will guide your organization and changes in the area to improve on safety, financial results and employee and customer satisfaction. An ideal candidate for this position will be able to combine attention to detail with effective decision making and solid managerial skills.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:
Execution of the strategy by setting operational goals for the operational units under your management, assuring quality of reporting and constantly looking for ways to optimize on safety, quality and cost
Supervising and building a motivated and successful team of Team Leaders in close collaboration with the Area Manager and the Senior Team Leader in South Sweden
Analysis of operational and financial data, making necessary changes and improvements
Seeking ways to improve collaboration cross functionally
Ensuring effective communication in the organization


Qualifications
On the professional level, we believe you have/are:
Several years of proven people management experience, for instance of leading leaders
Experience of change management and performance management
Educational background within business or technical field
Fluency in English and Swedish
IT skills that enable handling analytical work and making effective presentations

Business understanding:
Proven experience with having had own economical responsibility
Experience in directing improvements through defining effective business cases
Experience (through work or study) of working with numbers and logical problem solving
Ability to convert strategic targets received into operational excellence and leadership requirements for your Team Leads
Comfortable with direction and expectation setting within Vestas quality, safety and cost goal as well as maintaining standards

Additional information
We would like you to be located in North Sweden within convenient distance from an airport.
Travelling about 30% per year is to be expected. During the first period you will be introduced by your colleague in South Sweden and the Area Manager.
