MachineGames is looking for a Senior Technical Animator to join our team and help us develop our next upcoming AAA game!
To thrive in this role we believe that you are a person that enjoys being a part of a team and working together to push the boundaries for what is possible in game development! You are proactive and reactive by nature and thoroughly enjoys the technical side of production.
The team is headed up by our Lead Technical Animator and you would be working alongside 2 other team members in the technical animation department that collaborates closely with programmers as well.
Our studio is located in central Uppsala, Sweden which is a small and vibrant city 30 minutes north of the capital, Stockholm. It has a historical heritage reaching back to pre-medieval times. MachineGames is a part of Zenimax Media inc. alongside sister studios Alpha Dog games, Arkane studios, Bethesda game studios, Id Software, Roundhouse Studios, Tango Gameworks, and ZeniMax Online Studios.

Responsibilities
To help develop and establish pipelines used for taking characters, creatures, vehicles and any other animated assets into the game.
To help R&D new tools, pipelines for character artists, 3d artists and animators for current and future projects.
To help out in evaluations of hardware and software to be used by character artists, 3d artists and animators.
Qualifications
Solid knowledge of the game development process and industry
Experience from a full production cycle in a relevant field
Strong understanding of game animation and implementation
University degree or equivalent experience
Excellent learning skills and adaptation to pipelines and workflow
Proactive in problem solving skills with a positive, confident attitude
Motivated and creative with strong commitment to quality
Solid verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Strong familiarity with MachineGames´ titles
Experienced MotionBuilder user
Experienced Coder, must have experience with Python and C programming languages.
Excellent capability of handling technical/code related problems.
