Senior Technical Audiologist The Senior Technical Audiologist at Cochlear BAS holds a key role in the development of new bone conduction applications to improve hearing performance including signal processing and amplification algorithms.You will be a leader in our organization in terms of knowledge within the technical acoustic aspects on bone conduction audiology.You will work closely with Technology Development to provide the necessary understanding of the technical hearing performance of our products and ensure that new innovations are quickly integrated into the product plan. This role provides you with the opportunity to apply your knowledge into the development of future sound processors for bone conduction hearing.You will immediately see a link between your technology innovations and improved hearing outcomes of our patients.[ Your main responsibilities are; Technical Audiological Research Test and evaluate different technical solutions for bone conduction hearing which may[ lead to improved hearing performance Research the potential benefits of different signal processing and technical applications of bone conduction hearing Further our knowledge of different aspects of acoustic signal processing on the hearing performance of Baha wearers Improve the methods of amplification (prescription) for bone conduction hearing Develop hearing applications for bone conduction hearing Work collaboratively with other researchers and leaders in the field of bone conduction applications. Technical Audiological Knowledge [ Develop test configurations and procedures to measure Baha performance Be responsible for the technical audiological knowledge at Cochlear BAS in terms of the acoustic and technical aspects of bone conduction hearing Use the knowledge to assist the organization in developing and prioritizing activities and products Be responsible for the direction and activities carried out in our laboratories in Gothenburg and worldwide.
