As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will be a vital member of the engineering team in the Process Automation Energy Industry division in Sweden, consulting on technical solutions, approving assignments, and overseeing timely completion to high standards.
Reporting to the Sales and Technology Manager, Lars Mårtensson, you will head up medium-complexity consulting assignments and assist in developing consultancy products and services, and in contract management activities to ensure delivery of assignments.
You will have an overall responsibility for the sales success of two product offerings. S+ SCADA and AC 500, in the Northern Europe HUB (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, UK, Ireland, Finland and Russia). Your main task is to support Partners, System integrators, and our own local sales organization. Sales Enablement as well as making sure the after sales support is in place.
Your responsibilities
• Negotiating contracts to win consulting assignments, and providing technical assistance and guidance to the sales team
• Conducting risk and opportunity analyses, and proposing and initiating actions to mitigate and control risks, as well as activities to capitalize on business opportunities
• Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
• Building strong relationships to facilitate the exchange of technical knowledge and best practices
• Aiding the development of processes and tools, ensuring compliance with regulations and contracts, and investigating inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Coaching and developing consultants to deliver assignments with a focus on operational execution and excellence
• Driving performance to achieve financial targets within the sales of S+ SCADA and AC500.
Your background
• At least 5 years of experience in working with PLC SCADA products, working as a technical expert or as a project engineer on an expert level.
• Sound knowledge of PLC/SCDA techniques, processes and tools.
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies
• Demonstrated management capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• Speaking and Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish or Norwegian) fluently is a requirement, as well as English fluently both in speaking and writing
• Drivers license is a requirement, since frequent travelling by car is required.
