We are now recruiting the next Technical Project Manager to Husqvarna Groups Battery Competence Center. If you want to work in a technical and global environment, managing complexed projects, this might the opportunity you are looking for!
Working in an international team of project managers, you will be an important part of Husqvarnas electrification journey and take forest-, park- and garden equipment into the future. This vacant role is about being in the absolute center of electrification as the leader of battery projects with high complexity. About the team
The Husqvarna Battery Competence Center (BCC) is a battery development expert team serving the Husqvarna Group with battery and charger solutions. The team is located in four sites, both in Germany and Sweden, making the team international.
With a diverse configuration of roles in the BCC team, an innovative and dynamic atmosphere is created. Some roles needed in projects are outside the BCC core team which requires maintaining a good stakeholder network in the organization.
This is also a great opportunity to learn all aspects of battery design and deployment and to influence how the BCC operates, both internally and externally.
Tasks and responsibilities
As a Technical Project Manager BCC be fully responsible for assuring the success of Husqvarna Groups battery development projects. This is a high-profile role with an immediate impact on the launches of our product and services. In order to be successful you need to master managing complexed projects and a different set of knowledge areas. Focus will shift between different functions and levels of detail throughout the project, always providing excellent leadership of the team.
More specific tasks will be; plan and lead high-level activities throughout the projects from initiation to closure, report status to steering committes and senior management, stakeholder management, communication in all directions, manage solutions to deviations of scope together with your team. This is a complex and challaging position and as support in your projects you will have team of engineers (HW, SW, Mechatronic) lead by an engineering lead.
The Project Manager will report to BCC Project and Portfolio Manager who in turn is reporting to the head of BCC.
Skills
BSc in relevant area, project management certifications is advantageous
You have at least 7 years of relevant experience from all project phases including managing teams, planning, budgeting, financial follow-up, risk management etc.
You have solid experience of managing cross functional and distributed projects, within battery/electronics development, with a proven strong track record.
English fluency in both writing and speaking is a must, speaking/reading Swedish or German is an advantage.
You are expected to travel to other Husqvarna and BCC sites and to suppliers.
This is a role that requires physical presence in the offices of the BCC but most routine work can be done off-site.
Personality Skills You are a highly experienced and driven problem solver who always looks for solutions with a positive approach.

You are well organized, thorough and reliable with the ability to regularly shift focus from a detailed level to high level perspective.
Excellent in communication skills and stakeholder management
Excellent in structuring the work and understanding the benefit of information accuracy
