As a member of the Methods & Tools team you will develop and implement solutions for various complex problems in the field of renewable energies for meteorological and energy yield specific analyses and processes, such as for wind data processing and analysis, wind field analysis, wake analysis, yield estimation, etc.

Your tasks

* Independent development and coordination of digital solutions, tools and new approaches for complex problems in the field of wind field simulation, yield estimation, wind data processing and preparation and in order to leverage big data or automate routine processes
* Facilitate innovation in a way to improve project specific applications and for application across the whole of resource assessment
* Collaboration with and coordination of relevant stakeholders such as Digital Transformation, Asset Information Management, external programmers with the aim of fostering continuous improvement and innovation in a cross departmentat context
* Coordinate and facilitate resource assessment related improvement initiatives
* Coordinate and facilitate resource assessment related improvement initiatives
* Independent development and optimization of processes and workflows as well as their implementation with the aim of ensuring and increasing cross-departmental consistency

Your profile

* University Degree in Physics, Meteorology, Mathematics, Data Science or related with at least 8 years relevant professional experience.
* Good understanding of object oriented programming either in Python, Matlab, C# or C++
* Advanced script skills either in Python, R, Matlab, C# or C++ coupled with advanced skills in wind data processing
* Very good understanding in IEC-61400-12 measurement requirements and of met mast, lidar installation, maintenance, and decommission processes
* Database skills (database design and SQL) and Data science knowledge (supervised learning, neural networks, and time
* series forecasting)
* Statistical knowledge in resampling methods, probability distributions, confirmatory data analysis, and data modelling fitting coupled with understand of wind data analysis
* Energetic, motivated, organized, proactive with a forward looking mindset
* Good communication skills in English both spoken and written
