Our Exciting Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior level professional with 10+ years of demonstrated ability in diverse environments across levels of management and personnel through extensive change and services for our Kista location. The scope is to ensure leadership,innovation, and execute industry-standard methodologies across various teams, incubate new impactful business and technology initiatives.
The key aspect of this is to champion and maximize AI ecosystem (Start-ups, Academia, Technology Leaders, Customers/Industries and Open-Source/De-facto Standards/Initiatives such as LF AI) in Sweden to help generate and drive incubation of new products/services and creation of AI capabilities that can span units in GAIA.
This position will report to the Head of GAIA Technology & Innovation in Santa Clara, and part the unit’s leadership team, supporting, driving and leading initiatives towards achieving the goals of the Tech & Innovation. This affords you a unique opportunity to work on some of the most highly visible initiatives inside one of the world’s most valuable brands. The role will allow you to be creative, strategic and impactful. It will also test you to thrive under pressure with driven expectations and a multitude of critical partners. This individual will also serve as a key member of the Think Tank and driving day-to-day activities to realize them.
As a Leader, you will work with cross-geographical teams with multi-functional responsibilities within Ericsson. You will also chip in to secure Ericsson’s technology and business leadership in the AI domain, incorporating Lean and Agile ways of working.
You will
Contribute to Team Technology & Innovation’s strategy, plans and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
Support and Interact with the local ecosystem and internal GAIA and other Ericsson teams to define and execute on incubations and cross-unit capabilities projects/initiatives
Participate in building and cultivating relevant external ecosystem and communities
Improve internal and external evangelism of Ericsson capability in AI/ML area; blog posts, training, documentation
Manage technology evolution such as customer engagement towards a distributed cloud
To be successful in the role you must have
Education: M.SC. in computer science or equivalent
Demonstrated ability: Deep knowledge about AI/ML, System solution & integration, Automation and configuration management tooling
Proficient SW technology knowledge, such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, Open-Daylight, as well as general Host OS techniques and programming languages
Innovating, adapting and responding to change skills
Delivering results and meeting expectations abilities
Proficient English, spoken and written
