The senior Telecom VoIP Architecture works closely with other development engineers. Manages the growth and development of VoIP development projects. Analyzes, evaluates, and makes recommendations regarding new technology and trends to meet company needs. Provides troubleshooting services on complex VoIP solutions over public networks. Responds to needs and requirement assessments of Information Technology. Monitors the development of new solutions , with VoIP and other networking technologies, with attention to the impact on the networking environment.
Duties
Full responsibility for delivering solutions into production (working through operations teams).
Full responsibility for quality of code the team delivers (either through personal review or thoughtful delegation).
Responsible for training and mentoring developers on the team,
Responsible for architectural decisions with consultation from other stack holders.
Daily coordination of development activities with Product and Project Managers and other Lead Developers.
Working closely with distributed development and QA resources in several countries.
Designing and developing new features based on product specifications.
Troubleshooting production issues and providing configuration or coding changes to fix them.
Refactoring existing code to improve efficiency, extensibility, and maintainability.
Identifying and evaluating new techniques, tools, and technologies to expand the team’s
capabilities.
Reviewing test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts created by QA team members.
Work with Technical Project Management to create and maintain the prioritized backlog and schedule for the team and/or projects.
Demonstrate an inclusive, roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic by showing a willingness to participate in daily workloads when needed to make deadlines.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
B.S. degree of software or electronics engineering
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with Design and implementation of VoIP call managers, IP PBX & IP phones .
Good experience with VoLTE - VoWIFI, 3GPP Protocol, ePDG-IPsec GateWay, CSCF Concept
Extensive experience with IP telephony solutions like Asterisk, Free Switch, SIP Proxy ,Kamailio,3cx, Cisco ,Avaya and Mitel.
3+ years of experience in leading VoIP Development Teams
Deep understanding of SIP protocol
Excellent knowledge of Wireshark, VMware vSphere, Workstation, virtual server,ESXI,Hyper-V, Kerio Controller and Mikrotik , UTM.
Integration experience with major Cloud based CRM providers such as SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle CX (RightNow), V Tiger CRM or Sugar CRM.
Leading initiatives where teams were comprised of onshore and offshore resources
Excellent communication skills
Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and manage teams in an Agile environmen
