Purpose of the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and highly motivated Tendering Manager within the Tendering Team in Sweden. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for tender preparation for turnkey High-Voltage AC Substations from the early pursuit phase until final negotiation, contract signature and handover to the execution team. During preparation, the successful candidate will lead an interdisciplinary tender team to prepare the technical and commercial offer. Throughout the entire sales cycle the tendering manager has a close collaboration with the sales manager and other key stakeholders within the organization.

Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs):
- Together with the sales organization, you will identify projects in the early stage, understand customer requirements and follow-up regularly and promptly with customers during the acquisition phase
- Work out the sales strategy for the individual tenders by selecting the winning solution, both commercially and technically
- Assume the lead for assigned tenders, incorporating the help of interdisciplinary supporting teams consisting of engineering, project management, legal, commercial and supply chain management
- Responsible for the overall risk assessment of the project, and ensuring the necessary internal approvals before submitting the tender
- Lead the technical and commercial negotiations with customers
- Participate in cost analysis activities as well as continuous improvement activities to further improve our competitiveness

Experience Required:
University degree, preferably in electrical engineering or equivalent, with minimum 5-10 years’ experience in the transmission sector
In depth professional experience and knowledge of power supply systems, sales and tendering
Experience of working with utility, industry and transport customers as well as international EPC’s
Previous experiences of working with tenders under public procurement law is an advantage (LOU / LUF)
Competencies/ Skills Required:
Good knowledge of AIS/GIS HV/MV equipment
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work with cross-functional teams as well as to cope with a flexible-load environment
Motivated to take full ownership for tenders, similar to a project manager
Ability to act with certain seniority towards both internal and external stake holders
