Senior Test and Validation Engineer

About the position
Alvier Mechatronics within Höganäs AB is looking for a Senior Test and Validation Engineer to join our prototype and industrialization team. The team is responsible for process development of powder parts and building soft magnetic composites (SMC) prototype parts as well as testing and validating prototypes.  Our testing includes electronics, mechanics and complete systems, like motors and inductors. The company is striving to achieve a true digital twin and implementing the system design with a focus on the requirements within Six Sigma.

As a Senior Test and Validation Engineer you will build up, run and maintain the lab including measurement procedures. To identify the gaps of missing equipment to make necessary tests to accomplish the digital twin. You have the responsibility for the complete analysis of SMC parts subsystems as motors and inductors and to validate the results of the design requirements. 

The position is placed in Höganäs in Sweden, and the employment will be within Höganäs AB.   

Your profile
This position requires an M.SC or equivalent in mechanics, electronics, physics or similar,  and a minimum of ten years of work experience. You need to have a deep knowledge to perform tests on electrical motors and general material tests. You also need to have good knowledge and experience within Six Sigma.

You are an innovative and result-oriented team player, well organized with experimental planning skills. You have good communication skills and get things done at the same time as you are motivated by conducting hands-on experimental work. Leading lab activities and problem-solving are also considered valuable skills in the position.
