Senior Test Automation Engineer
Nasdaq Technology is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Real Time Clearing (RTC) delivery team. RTC helps clearinghouses meet the ever-increasing demands of the post-trade value chain with integrated position keeping, real-time risk and collateral management, as well as settlement, across markets.
Our RTC delivery team is a cross-functional team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers, Test Engineers and Project Manager and together we closely support, collaborate with, and work alongside one of our clients in South America - a top exchange by market capitalization. What you will be doing
Write automated functional and user acceptance tests using our Java based test framework
Participate in the projects scrum ceremonies, e.g. daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos and retros.
Perform manual smoke tests using the systems UI.
Write test cases, raise bugs, perform functional and regression testing for our customers new functions.
Partner with internal stakeholders as well as coordinating with the customers QA team.
What you will bring to the team
5+ years of experience in automated and manual testing.
A strong Can-Do attitude and good teamwork skills.
A curious mindset, with a strong will and capability to learn.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or software engineering or equivalent work experience.
It would be great if you have
Knowledge of the capital markets, e.g. clearing, settlement, trading, financial instruments or corporate actions.
Experience from highly complex, distributed, resilient and transaction intensive systems.
