Senior test engineer with financial experience

Ericsson is launching a new Mobile Money solution to support basic banking services for unbanked people worldwide.This provides a unique opportunity for you to be part of building and enhancing this next generation payment platform.

We are looking for a Senior Operational engineer with experience in the area of software development, automated testing, operation maintenance and support.

Ericsson will deliver a product and integrate into the customer's environment enabling the customer a feature rich and compliant solution with support for multiple channels and an extensive range of sophisticated account management and transaction services.

The engineer is responsible to convert incoming business requirements from customers into cost effective strategy, being able to take part of a team securing the quality and functionality of the services and solutions.Within the context of Mobile Money this involves defining the impact of global and local regulations on the platform and its deployments in various countries.


Main tasks for this role:
1. Provide technical and industry expertise on element within Revenue Management/Mobile Money
2. Involvement in operational and support management, software quality and deployment strategies within the early processes of presale and full deployment
3. Verify the function of the Mobile Money software solution continuously complies with:
o Financial regulations and Accounting regulations
o Contractual law (e.g.transfer of ownership, debt law)
o Using Swedish Financial Regulations (FFFS, Law), EU regulations (CEBS, BIS) global policymakers such as the World bank
4. Respond to, interact with and thoroughly assist the implementation towards Financial Service Authorities (FSA), and partners in their continuous evaluation of the global and local platforms

You must have:
A university degree (MSc or BSc), preferably within Finance, Software Engineering and/or Law
Regulatory and banking experience preferably related to payments
Experience of agile teamwork and well developed communication skills
At least 3 years of relevant experience
Speak and write English fluently
Meritorious

System Admin (Security design, Radius, Shell Scripting, OS (Win/Unix/Linux), GPL, LAMP architecture)
Network Admin (TCP/IP, LAN topology, VPN, IPSec, SSL, Routing, F5, Juniper, Extreme)
Database Admin (Oracle, MySQL, LDAP)
Communication Admin (TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, WebServices)
Been involved in testing and quality in software development for Revenue Management/Mobile Money
Experience of working with payments, banking compliance and/or risk management within the financial service sector
Positive and proactive attitude towards testing and problem solving environment

Experience of telecom systems is appreciated.
