Senior Trade Compliance Specialist – Origin
With the ambition to elevate our FTA processes, we are looking for a Senior Trade Compliance specialist with the ability to make origin calculation and solicitation to an integrated part of our day-to-day business.

Our team
Our EMCA Regional Trade Compliance team’s mission is to serve as a business enabler and convert Trade Compliance into a competitive advantage and key asset for our Company. Not only from a compliance perspective, but also from the perspective of savings and results on the bottom line. 
This role will be part of our regional trade compliance team, with the focus and responsibility for our solicitation and calculation process, ensuring that our Free Trade Agreement activities are aligned with trade compliance policies and procedures within our company. In addition, the role will also be a vital part of the business development, focusing on servicing our business units all over the globe with correct information and documentation to ensure compliant customs processes and savings in their trade with our customers. 
Your Responsibilities
•    You will be responsibility for all issues related to origin, the use of FTA and related tools and processes.
•    Drive the implementation of our Preferential Origin Solicitation and Calculation tool.
•    Ensure efficiency of the process by operating/maintaining of our trade tool, as well as present improvements and enhancements to both processes and tools. 
•    Communicate and train suppliers and related stakeholders, and over time, improve the process for response and retrieval of supplier declaration based on KPI measurements.  
•    Ensure that all related processes and tools are compliance and well documented in terms of internal and external policies.
•    Analyse changes and updates in current and new FTA legislation and rulings, and present/report measurements for saving possibilities. 
•    Keep informed about business projects and import-export operation changes to identify potential opportunities related to FTA and related information.  
•    Ability to explain the application of rules of origin according to what is stated in the FTAs to internal stakeholders to provide full detail on why an item qualifies or does not qualify for the evaluated agreement.  
•    Close cooperation with all internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, Purchasing, Finance, Legal, Logistics, Sales, R & D and Engineering.
•    Point of contact towards Customs Authorities related to origin requests and documentation.
•    Be responsible for calculations and evaluations as well as issuing of FTA related documents. 
Location and travel
The location for the role is Örebro or hybrid and connected to any Epiroc office in Sweden. Occasional travel is required.

Your profile
•    5+ Years of experience related to FTA Qualification Analysis.
•    In depth understanding of rules of origin interpretation & application. 
•    Ability to communicate with relevant business stakeholders.
•    Ability to understand technical data related to our products.
•    Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Swedish language is required.
•    Wide understanding of customs processes and operational challenges related to FTA processes. 
It is also positive if you have a background and experience from the customs business.
