SENIOR TRANSPORT MODELING ENGINEER

Alten is growing its in-house team within Transport Modelling.
As a Senior Transport Modelling Engineer, you have at least a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field with experience in the area of Transport Modelling and an interest in analysis and calculations.

The position can involve developing or applying transportation models for all traffic sectors in order to evaluate the socioeconomic effects.
It is highly beneficial with experience of working with Trafikverket or if you have skills in tools used for transport modelling. The position can involve working both in the public sector but also in the private sector such as in the automotive industry.
We are looking for a person that is passionate about future mobility and has a good understanding of transport infrastructure and its effect on road users, society and the economy.

Requirements:
- Experience in Transport Modelling
- Experience in making socioeconomic analyses
- Working experience with or for Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) or similar

Beneficial experience:
- Traffic modelling tools such as Samper & Samkalk
- Goods modelling tools such as Samgods, Nätra & Bangods
- Rail modelling tools such as Bansek
- Traffic simulation tools such as VISSIM/VISUM
