Senior UI Designer [Star Wars Project]

Job Description
We’re collaborating with Disney and Lucasfilm Games on a new story-driven open-world video game set in the beloved Star Wars galaxy. This is a lore we love and want to do justice with a game and story that bring both new and lifelong fans on an immersive and outstanding journey that will stay with them for years.
We are looking for an experienced UI Designer to join our dedicated UI team. You will work closely with other designers, artists and programmers making sure the game user interface is understandable, accessible and engaging.
This is a permanent position based in Malmö Sweden and requires working onsite. We kindly ask you to apply with your CV and message to the hiring manager/cover letter in English. Applications will be reviewed whilst the job-ad is posted.

Responsibilities
Designing layout and flow of UI menus.
Creating concepts of UI elements, menus and animations.
Ensuring the game UI will provide players with an immersive gaming experience that aligns with the visual style of the game

Qualifications
You are passionate about UI development. You share our love for playing and making games, especially story-driven open-world games. You are comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team and you collaborate effectively. Eager to work in an iterative development process where you quickly need to adapt to change and work towards a shared goal.
Professional experience of UI development for video games
Solid understanding of graphic design, interaction design and information architecture
Experienced user of wireframing software (e.g. Adobe suite)
Great communication skills
Experience of UI development for SCI-FI video games in general and Star Wars games is a plus
Knowledge of After Effects and 3D software is a plus
Knowledge of node-based tools/engines is a plus
