The best candidate will be a designer who puts the user first, bringing a blend of strong interaction skills with a maker mentality. But it's not all function: beauty matters too. We're looking for a refined visual eye and a person with great visual communication skills.
This position reports directly to the VP of Product Design.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Embedding in one or more of our agile product development teams for Workforce Engagement Management (WEM). As the senior designer, you will represent the design leg of a team triad alongside product owners and developers
You'll be working alongside other designers in Sweden and with cross-functional conversations in the US and Canada
Helping us collaboratively develop and deploy new design processes with our product teams
Working with product owners to help define scope of solutions
Working with UX Researchers to help us better hear the voice of our customers and to help strategically steer direction for our products

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Someone who is creative, analytical, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Being able to express designs in code is a strong plus, but not strictly required
Good visual communication skills – can you reduce complex topics down into something clear, digestible, actionable, and accessible to general audiences (this is useful for both creating great product design for our customers and for the communication of that design internally)
Great interpersonal skills and deep empathy with our customers in their many personas and roles
Persuasion and influence skills with stakeholders outside of design (product, marketing, engineering)
Ability to present concepts, flows, and user experiences clearly and to justify design decisions that respect the constraints at hand, especially to stakeholders outside the world of design
Experience working in Agile Teams, especially remotely
Working knowledge of modern UX presentation layer frameworks and technologies (JavaScript, CSS, React, Angular, etc.)

HOW YOU'LL STAND OUT
A strong portfolio of work showing skill in a broad variety of user interaction models and interface designs, especially in highly technical and enterprise domains
Experience in improving and extending a design system for digital products
React and CSS skills (optional, but very interesting to have)
Experience with contact center management software

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR YOU TO APPLY?
5-8 years of industry experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
A strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skill and an understanding of user-centered design, especially in complex and highly regulated industries. B2B/enterprise software experience is strongly desirable here.
Proficiency in relevant software packages (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, or similar tools)
Working knowledge of modern UX development frameworks, especially React
A proven track record of working with software engineering teams to ensure accurate, high quality design
Ability to travel to and from our two offices in Sweden on occasion
Once travel restrictions are lifted
Ability to work effectively in a remote business environment
