YOUR MISSION AT VOI
At Voi, we recognize that our actions have an impact that goes beyond our riders. In order to achieve goals in our mission of creating safe, sustainable and reliable micromobility for anyone, the needs of riders, cities and their citizens must always be top of mind. We approach their pain-points with urgency and seek to solve them quickly. That means taking ownership of the quality of our work, seeing both the bigger picture and the details, and understanding how one impacts the other.
We are looking for a Senior User researcher to our Mobility business unit at Voi. In this role you will be part of a team with the focus on generating data and user insights. In tight collaboration with PM's and designers you will be crucial in enhancing the user experience for all Voi riders and stakeholders. In this role you will be working with hands-on research work with the focus on qualitative studies, but also finding new and innovative ways of communicating data and insights which the organisation can act upon.
YOUR TEAM AT VOI
Voi is a hybrid workplace that operates on trust and freedom, but we also like to hang out in person! We welcome diverse ideas and continuously aim for a workplace that feels like home. By being the second User Researcher joining Voi you will also be involved in shaping a data driven organisation who acts upon user needs. Hence you will be instrumental in developing a strong insights culture.

- Use both qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, surveys, field studies, ethnographic studies, demographic analysis, product research, mixed methods) to understand our users (also cities and non-users) needs, behaviors and the problems they might face.
- Explore and propose new areas to analyze through market research.
- Organize usability tests and conduct in-depth analysis.
- Sharing not only your insights with the rest of the organisation, being active in knowledge sharing with the team with the goal of always being on top of adapting our methods and our way of working towards the team's vision and organizational goals.
- Find innovative ways to communicate your insights in the best possible way. Eg. data visualization, facilitating workshops and collaborative analysis sessions
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO EMBARK
- Several years of experience conducting qualitative research on user experience by using a wide range of methods.
- Hands-on experience from research work. All the way from setting a study plan, choosing the right methods, executing qualitative data collection, data analysis and communicating insights.
- Experience from facilitating and moderating workshop sessions
- Experience in creating and adapting data visualizations towards different stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a fast moving organisation, approaching complex problems with iterative pragmatic solutions
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the team's perpetual growth
- Are able to work from Stockholm a few days per quarter
- Professional working proficiency in English, Swedish is not required
WHO YOU ARE
- You always challenge what is, and think about what can become better, more efficient/effective.
- You dare to add new perspectives and never be afraid to lead, test and learn together with the team - always with the goal of creating the best user experience for riders and stakeholders, inside and outside the organisation.
- Our colleagues come from different cultures and backgrounds and we believe that you also value the power of diversity
- Ability to lay out arguments and plans in a well-structured, data-informed narrative
DIVERSITY MATTERS

With employees from over 50 nationalities working within Voi, we believe we have made good progress but know we can still do more. Regardless of your gender, background or sexual orientation we welcome applications from whoever you are - what’s important for us is what skills and value you can bring to the Voi team. And of course that you’re a great Voi culture add!
