Who are we?
As an agile organization, we are developing after sales applications, supporting all Scania Busses and trucks. In our cross-functional teams, we are dedicated to building innovative and competitive products, while continuously making iterative improvements. One of our ongoing projects where you as a Senior UX Designer will be involved, is our new Portal for Scania maintenance. Our aim is to get a much more flexible, efficient system which is built according to the user experience principles and increases user engagement. We are in the middle of the project and have just released the basic and main functionalities. So, here you will have a great opportunity to affect the product and help us to deliver an exceptional experience to our users.
What you can expect
As our UX designer, you'll work closely with our product owners, developers, and business experts to design the best user interfaces for our web applications. You'll conduct user research, design UI/UX flow, and work alongside developers to deliver perfect solutions that prioritize both functionality and usability.
As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to participate in requirement analysis meetings, guide and support our front-end developers in UI development, and lead improvement work. We're looking for someone who is curious about customer and user needs, and constantly searching for creative methods and tools. As a person, you are a critical thinker, and a user advocate who ensures that the user's needs and goals are considered throughout the project. This may involve challenging certain assumptions or decisions made by the PO or PM if they conflict with the best interests of the user experience.
Your mindset and skills
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 4-5 years of experience as a UX/UI designer, an education in UX/UI design, proficiency in the design tool Figma, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and an agile mindset. You are a team player and a good facilitator, but also comfortable working independently. You are great at visualizing insights from various studies and analyses in customer flows and user journeys, fluent in English and located in Sweden.
