Are you ready to put your mark on one of the world's most leading tech brands? We are one of the most successful companies in the world that you probably never heard of, according to Forbes Magazine. Sinch brings businesses and people closer with tools enabling personal engagement. Our cloud communications platform reaches every mobile phone on the planet, in seconds or less, through mobile messaging, voice and video.
The UX team is growing and we are now looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join us in Malmö.
The essence of the role
Following our success, we are now looking to recruit a Senior UX Researcher. This is a new role and as our Senior UX Researcher your main responsibilities will be to build a deep understanding of our users' needs, goals and workflows, turning qualitative user research into insights and artefacts which will shape the future of our products. You will establish and implement an overall research strategy with clear objectives in collaboration with cross functional teams keeping in consideration current and upcoming initiatives and business goals.
Working together in a cross functional team we believe you are curious to learn new things, as well as a driver to teach us more about UX research and help us develop processes, ways of working and habits that lead to excellent user experiences.
As our new Senior UX Researcher your main responsibilities will be to:
Work closely with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams of product managers, designers and engineers and marketing
Define, plan, and conduct exploratory user research, including supporting the work of less experienced colleagues
Apply rigorous analysis to understand and document complex workflows and processes
Developing a holistic understanding of user behaviours, needs, challenges and motivations through qualitative and quantitative research methods
Present visual research results in a clear and pedagogic way, to inspire and motivate a wide range of decision makers and stakeholders
Regularly consolidate research findings into concise, accessible, digestible and actionable reports to be shared with our product teams
Who are you?
To be successful in the role you are a UX Research and Tech lover and you have a high degree of technical understanding, logical thinking, and ability to understand complex systems. You will be part of a great team of designers and need to be a good team player who can also navigate your way with other stakeholders. As we are still, in a sense, in the beginning of our design journey, there are plenty of opportunities for you to bring your ideas and experience and make a real impact here.
Proven work experience within UX Research, ideally experience in working with technical products such as web applications or SaaS products
Proficiency in research methodology, showing a strong understanding of the strengths and limitations of different methods and how and when to apply them
A degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science or equivalent
Basic prototyping skills to quickly test different hypothesis
Fluency in written and spoken English
Our corporate language is English, please submit your application in English.
Our expert teams are built from some of the most experienced in the industry. We employ people from all over the world, from all walks of life and from all backgrounds. We work together, feeding on our diversity to make us stronger, and we encourage each other to be the best we can be. Innovation drives us, and we challenge ourselves every day.
