Are you interested in making your mark on user interfaces that reach millions of people every day? We’re looking for an accomplished visual designer with UX Design skills to join our Design Systems team!
With us you have the opportunity to:
Be a part of a big UX Community north of 70 designers working on a large number of different digital touchpoints for different customer groups
Create and maintain a comprehensive Design System with UI components that supports our designers and developers in creating great experiences for our customers on web and in mobile apps
Be responsible for creating UI components from start to pixel perfect finish, these components will be used by hundreds of designers and developers to form the basic building blocks for our digital user experience.
Work continuously with brand representatives to translate the Swedbank brand into usable and attractive digital UI components
Design the look, feel and function of our digital interfaces by using design methods like sketches, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, flow diagrams, etc
Work closely with UI developers to make sure that visual designs are effectively and efficiently translated into working UI components with high visual quality
Translate business requirements, user needs and technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging
Make sure that design solutions are created from a holistic perspective and fit into the bigger picture of a seamless user experience
What you need in this role:
As a designer on the Design System team you will need to have a firm grasp of usability and accessibility design skills
You have a minimum of 5 years experience working as a visual designer for digital interfaces
Extended experience from maintaining and developing design systems (patterns, guidelines, components, etc)
Good understanding of UX best practices and patterns as well as extensive experience in designing for different platforms, including web and mobile/app
An excellent eye for good design combined with a good understanding of modern accessibility standards and best practices
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas and solutions to team members and stakeholders
Knowledge of modern ways of working with design in an agile environment, including design tools like Sketch and InVision
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
Proficient in English and Swedish
