Who are we?
ABC Labs was created in Spring 2020 as a direct response to the coronavirus pandemic. Since then we have performed around 25% of Sweden’s national covid-19 PCR testing.
ABC Labs consists today of 80 employees including a tech team of 14 developers. In a short time, we became a crucial factor in flattening the curve. We now turn to leverage our medical and technical infrastructure and learnings for solving other healthcare challenges.
Why are we hiring?
As a senior web developer in a cross-functional team, you will be involved throughout the whole development process. You will be working close to the medical lab and our partners to understand the challenges, you will be involved in the solution design, and you will code, test and document.
As a web developer, your role is of huge importance for us as what you build is what faces our partners and customers. Our partners vary from governmental bodies to health care providers, patients, nurses, etc who integrate our sampling flow into their systems. As a senior developer, you will be using your experience to lead and guide junior developers, as well as communicate to different stakeholders technical solutions.
Our current tech stacks are based on Ktor/Kotlin and Nest/TypeScript for the backend and Vue 3 using TypeScript for the frontend. However, we are very open to new ideas and technologies so if you have experience in other technologies we see that as a big bonus.
Whom do we want to hire?
You like to be given a lot of freedom and appreciate having the responsibility that comes with that. You are not afraid to come up with new solutions, and you think it's cool to fail. You keep up to date with new technologies and you are used to adopting new technologies. What matters for us:
● You have solid web development experience. Javascript experience in any flavor can not be foreign to you.
● If you have Vue.js experience it is a plus, yet having a curious personality and a constant learning mindset is more important since tech stacks come and go.
● You have an eye for design, and you think developing for Med-tech or diagnostics is very interesting.
● You have experience, knowledge, or interest to take ownership of any of the following:
∙ Single-page applications
∙ AJAX
∙ Jest
∙ Playwright
