Senior Wet Spinning Specialist to TreeToTextile

We are growing our team at our demo plant and are looking for you who have in-depth experience with wet spinning of cellulosic fibers and textile fiber production lines. This is an opportunity to be part of a journey developing and industrializing a new, innovative man-made cellulosic fiber. YOU WILL

You will join us in a production process-oriented role at our demo plant where you will have the main responsibility of our wet spinning process, fiber quality and product optimization. You will be part of a growing company with the ambition of being a game changer within the textile industry to significantly reduce the environmental footprint of the industry and to make sustainable textile fibers available to all. We have a novel chemical technology – using renewable forest raw material and regenerating the cellulose into a textile fiber. Our demo plant is to start producing in Q2 2022. For example your assignments will be to work with:

- wet spinning process optimization; safety, stability, operational procedures, pulp quality and equipment
- processability of the fiber
- equipment/instrumentation for quality control, fiber parameter optimization and down-stream application development
- training of personnel in the demo plant, e.g. within safety, spin-up and cleaning procedure
- co-operation with e.g. industry experts, dissolving wood pulp suppliers and customers

You will be a key member of a small team, working closely with your colleagues in the demo plant. This is employment at our demo plant in Nymölla, Sweden and we can help you with relocation if needed.

YOU ARE

We are looking for you who have in-depth knowledge and experience from production of man-made cellulosic fibers. Your knowledge is e.g. within spinning line management, process optimization, quality and safety area. You should have a university education in engineering and it is meritorious with experience from spinning line startups/investment projects. As a person you enjoy working in a team but can also easily work independent. You have good communication skills and can involve and engage people and like to share your knowledge. You enjoy challenges, want a varied role within your area and are prestigeless in your way of working.
