Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Senior/Expert Buyer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, focusing on the procurement of process equipment within Battery Manufacturing, specifically in Cell Manufacturing.
Manage the long-term Mariestad Battery Cell project, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams in Gothenburg, with occasional travel to Mariestad and suppliers.
Drive sourcing and cost reduction efforts, developing and implementing segment strategies within the assigned area of responsibility.
Establish and enhance supplier relationship management processes, setting continuous improvement goals and programs.
Negotiate contracts and coordinate supplier integration plans in collaboration with internal clients.
Monitor market dynamics affecting materials/services availability and pricing, providing insights for informed decision-making.
Partner with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, analyze marketplace trends, and define acceptable service levels.
Drive transformation initiatives, focusing on digitalization and sustainability at an advanced level.
What You Bring:
Recognized Expertise: A recognized expert in procurement, typically acquired through advanced education and over 10 years of relevant experience.
Strategic Sourcing: Proven experience in initiating and driving strategic sourcing initiatives, particularly in process equipment for Battery Manufacturing, with a focus on Cell Manufacturing.
Supplier Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to establish and optimize supplier relationship management processes.
Contract Negotiation: Proficiency in negotiating contracts and coordinating supplier integration plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Market Dynamics Understanding: Ability to monitor and analyze market dynamics impacting materials/services availability and pricing.
Transformation Leadership: Experience in driving transformation initiatives, with a focus on digitalization and sustainability.
Operational Planning: Ability to establish operational plans for the job area, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with leadership and internal clients.
