Senior&Lead Visual HMI Designer Automotive Industry

Skills
Collect and understand requirements from user as well as brand point of view;
Design thinking and methodology
Strong communication skills
Ability to lead and guide a team towards succesfull deliveries.
Able to create and maintain design systems and style guides.
Strong visual sense and direction.
Strong animation/motion skills
3D skills are plus (Blender, 3DsMax,Maya etc)
Conceptual thinking outside the standard deliveries.
Experience with design software and wireframe tools: Adobe XD/Figma/Sketch/Adobe Suite
5+ years of professional design experience that includes work either form automotive or from web / mobile applications.



Responsibilities
Collect and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners, managers and developers
Ability to communicate to the team and guide the next steps
Being hands on with the project to create successful deliveries
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and wireframes.
Create visualizations of high-level ideas and explore potential directions of visual proposals;
Define visual directions and develop further style guides;
Implementing changes into design systems and guiding the team to follow them.
Development of hifi or lofi prototypes that clearly illustrate how they work and what they look like;
Design the graphical user interfaces for variety of applications (automotive, wearables, web&mobile)
Prepare and present to internal or external teams and key stakeholders;
Preparing and planning deliveries and milestones with stakeholders and managers.



Requirements
5+ years of proven work experience as HMI Designer, having experience from the automotive sector.
Strong knowledge of wireframing and prototyping.
Strong knowledge of motion design
Strong knowledge of branding and graphic design principles
Proven experience in leading a team
Strong knowledge of design softwares (Figma, Sketch Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects);
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders;
Good time management skills;
Interaction with experts both with technical teams (software developers, engineers), non-technical (visual designers, product owners, project managers etc.).
Experience with software development with a history of
success in software development that uses tools like JIRA;
Experience in working in various ways Kanban, Scrum and AdHoc
