In Core Business Franchise we are responsible for the IKEA strategic framework and keeping it together through an IKEA Concept which is updated, relevant, implemented and followed-up together with all IKEA trademark users.

Retail experience has the assignment to provide retail concept frameworks and digital solutions that is mandatory or are recommended as a franchise offer in the retail space. In the common customer facing solutions domain we develop our products using agile software development methods and DevOps principles in order to improve the quality and to faster release value to the retailers. The Framework IKEA.com product portfolio aim to help and enable the retailers to operate within the frame of the franchise agreements and the core products are:
Create digital design system – IKEA visual identity for all customer facing digital touch points
Show conceptual site – IKEA concept framework for all customer facing digital touch points
IKEA knowledge graph – IKEA product, home furnishing and life at home knowledge enabler exposing business services
IKEA.com apex or root domain – To be the IKEA online area that concern IKEA except for IKEA shop experience that is the franchisee responsibilities. For example about our IKEA history, the IKEA brand, Home furnishing knowledge, social entrepreneurship, sustainability, newsroom and more. 


We are looking for a SEO and Domain Leader to join our new established cross product technical team in Framework IKEA.com. As SEO and Domain Leader your main responsibility will be to define and drive the SEO and domain strategy agenda for the total IKEA. You will interact and collaborate with stakeholders across IKEA, franchisees and customers, so we can harmonize and have a clear structure of the content that is IKEA on IKEA.com/. From an SEO optimization point of view it means that the traffic is routed to the right area of IKEA.com and also optimizing ways of working.

You will also:
Define and maintain the site structure strategy for IKEA.com.
Define and maintain the IKEA enterprise site map together with relevant stakeholders.
Define and maintain the IKEA domain strategy.
Define and maintain the across IKEA enterprise SEO strategy together with relevant stakeholders.
Be part of scoping IKEA.com to gather all relevant content areas that is the IKEA brand online.
Be a champion and source of knowledge regarding those matters as we must unify the IKEA online presence.


For this position, we have a preferred candidate. It is a fulltime position (40h/week) and will be located in our offices in Malmö. The last day of apply is March the 18th of June 2022.
