Are you a highly skilled SEO expert that wants to be a part of building a successful SEO team and help improve our overall SEO offer? As an SEO Lead, you will have a great opportunity to shape the role and lay the foundation on how Columbus should be doing "SEO" together with our customers. Columbus has more than 200 consultants helping our customers implementing, improving and optimizing their e-commerce solutions every day.

You are a communicative team player who knows how to have fun, and wants to actively lead clients with best-practice solutions and be part of their growth! This is a great opportunity for you with the right skill set, you will be delivering SEO services solutions for some of the largest e-commerce customers in the Nordics, and work in close collaboration with specialists and leaders across our organization.

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for our overall SEO offer, go-to-marketing strategy for SEO, plan for recruitment of an SEO team and we expect you to master all areas of SEO. In order to be successful, you will need to have a broad, yet comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices as well as proven hands-on tactics on how to optimize a solution for its intended purpose.

As SEO Lead, you will also act as a Senior SEO Consultant, you will work closely together with our cross-functional Customer Teams within the areas of Data-Driven Content, Data & Insights, Development, and UX, to secure value for our clients and create a wow experience for both them and their end-users.

We think you have
Acted as a professional SEO lead for clients or colleagues in a team, providing guidance, advice, and assistance when required. Collaborated in extended teams of senior managers on various digital marketing and customer acquisition projects where SEO is a natural part of all digital marketing. Managed copywriters and other internal/external suppliers for content production etc.

Personal skillset
- 5 years+ proven SEO experience covering both strategic and hands-on activities with broad, yet comprehensive knowledge (e.g. on-site, content, and tactical SEO)
- Experience in working as the lead, shaping and executing the SEO strategy
- A solid understanding of schema mark-up, onsite and external linking strategies, SEO audits, & canonicalization to advise and challenge accordingly
- Good technical SEO experience (e.g. meta tags, sitemaps, redirects, and more)
- Deep knowledge in Google Analytics and a strong understanding of statistical reporting and web analytics
- Keeping up to date with SEO news and is willing to share any insights with your colleagues
- Proactively research new opportunities to increase SEO visibility and conversions for our customers' websites
- Good enough Swedish for you to be able to perform SEO tasks for Swedish customers


Nice to haves

- Digital agency SEO experience is an advantage
- Strong understanding of statistical reporting and web analytics
- Knowledge of CMS, HTML / CSS, JavaScript or PHP) is an advantage
- Interest or knowledge within areas such as voice search and location-based SEO would be fun 😊
