We are looking for an SEO specialist to join our fantastic Monki family! As our SEO Specialist, you are responsible for maximizing organic traffic to Monki.com by improving page ranking and optimizing the site for search engines. This is a brand new role at Monki that allows you to create and formalize it together with us. You will work closely with an SEO copywriter and report to the Site development & Operations Manager within the e-commerce department. Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Deliver and execute SEO strategies for Monkis website that meet business goals and secure growth
Follow organic search trends and share with relevant stakeholders
Perform ongoing keyword research and competitive analysis
Drive and prioritize SEO site developments, setting requirements and acceptance testing
Implement changes in content management systems (CMS) and update metadata
Execute on-page optimizations
Collaborate with all functions in the global E-commerce team and with SEO specialists within the H&M group. Guide E-commerce and marketing functions to optimize Monki.com sites for search engines through training, best practice guidelines, and research
Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes
Drive SEO content strategy and initiatives
Collaborate with content creators and ensure best SEO practice is followed
Lead authority strategy and determine link building or clean-up tactics

We would love to meet someone who has:
2-3 years of experience in and proven positive results from a similar role
Experience in working and using SEO tools including Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMRush or similar
Knowledge of SEO (on-site, off-site, tech) and basic understanding of SEO copywriting
Experience with Web Analytic packages, Google Analytics, Webmaster tools
Knowledge and/or experience reading code (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Experience in coding is a plus.
Experience with and/or understanding of other marketing channels (e.g. Pay per Click)
Experience in working with popular CMS’ (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
