SEP Application Expert Logistics

SKF is currently undergoing one of the largest changes to date referred to as SEP - “SKF ERP Program”. This is a foundation for the future SKF landscape of global business processes and solutions globally through a common ERP system (SAP). This global transformation is driven by a dynamic cross-functional international team working across borders and time zones.

This position is a key role within the SKF IT organization that provides technical/business solutions to meet business needs. This individual will be hands-on and involved in all phases of a project from analysis and understanding of requirements, and detailing to functional design, testing and implementation. Projects range from minor enhancements to larger projects.

Key responsibilities
As SEP Application Expert Logistics, you will be the SAP Logistics expert with a strong knowledge in logistics execution such as delivery processing, relevant configurations and determinations, shipment processing, output determination, reports, interfaces and integration with legacy applications. You will provide SAP Logistics/Distribution execution consultation and support and implement SKF processes across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP). Furthermore, you will:
• Work directly with business owners to understand their needs, detail their requirements and provide functional solutions
• Identify solutions for processes and concepts involved in logistic execution, stock transfer orders, scheduling agreements, BOMs, master data, integration with cross modules, and provide knowledge of standard processes for the logistic modules: SD, MM, PP, PM
• Be responsible for defining the blueprint for functional development specifications
• Be responsible for the implementation, configuration and support of SAP Logistics Modules: S4/Hana, SD, MM and possibly EWM
• Work with integrating GTS, GCT, MES etc.
• Conduct feasibility studies/solution reviews in order to secure business process optimization and integration with other SAP modules

Requirements
• A university degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience working in a global environment
• Extensive experience in SAP Logistics modules at a senior level with hands-on experience in configuration, and user experience with the following SAP modules: SD, LE and MM
• S4/HANA experience is a plus
• Fluent in English

The position will be part of SEP program and will report to Amol Kamble, Product Owner of Supply Chain inside the SKF IT organization.
