SEP Finance - SAP Senior Application Expert


As a Senior Application Expert, you will provide expertise focusing of SAP Finance modules to enable implementation to new countries, system configuration, evaluating business needs and providing functional solutions and improvements.

The SKF ERP Program (SEP) is an international team with-in Global Digital Solutions. The SEP program is responsible for the development (including design, build and testing) of a central template and its global deployment; and all activities are carried out through projects. The overall program is steered by the business represented by a transformation community that provides requirements and deployment roadmap to meet the future SKF.


Key responsibilities
Work directly with business owners to understand their needs, detail their requirements and provide solutions.
To identify solutions for processes and concepts involved in Finance end-to-end flow (across all related applications, both SAP and non-SAP).
To be responsible for communicating the requirements to the rest of the project and making sure they are managed throughout the lifetime of the project.
To be responsible of the definition of the functional specifications (detailed design).
Configure in S/4 System and participating in testing (preparing, running, correcting) as well as preparing and assist in User Acceptance Testing.
Assists in aligning team with the business stakeholders in creating Business cases.
Support implementation of solution (both in the template and deployments respectively) and drive adherence beyond implementations
Transfer knowledge to business end-users and business experts, including training, when necessary.
To provide advanced end user support to the user community i.e. answer process related questions and support in managing issues.



We expect you to have:
Senior experience (5+ years) in SAP Finance modules
Several years of experience from working with design (high and detailed level), hands-on configuration, validation and deployment in the SAP Finance modules
Wide knowledge of finance processes, in example Accounts receivable, tax accounting, controlling, sales controlling etc.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is a prerequisite.
It’s a merit having experience of robotization or FIORI in SAP Finance area

Additional information
Location: Major SKF site (e.g Gothenburg/Sweden, Airasca/Italy, Houten/Netherlands, Bangalore/India etc) preferably Gothenburg, Sweden.

You will report to the Product Owner: Finance & HR located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
