We are looking for you who wants to join our Service and Parts Powertrain team where we right now are looking specifically for Service Engineering competence. Practical truck and engine knowledge and experience within these areas is required and knowledge of new technologies such as electro-mobility is highly valued.
We also see that you have deep understanding of our end users in the workshop and experience in developing quality assured service, repair and spare parts solutions. You have complete truck knowledge and documented experience of the Volvo Group products and systems. You are eager to learn new technology and you have a strong customer and quality focus and a team player mind-set.

High-level Job description
Develop, adapt and document repair methods & standard times on component, system and vehicle level.
Develop, document and optimize spare parts solution needed for technical repair.
Ensure that the repair methods & standard times fulfil Volvo Group’s safety and quality objectives.
Take ownership of the parts assortment and repair methods throughout the product lifetime.
Education and Skills
Technical knowledge in one or multiple areas (brake systems, steering, frame, cab).
Product knowledge of Volvo group products.
End user/workshop knowledge.
Understanding of Product Data Management and technical documentation.
Virtual systems and CAD.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent automotive experience.
Knowledge in Volvo systems for method development and spare part assortment as well as understanding of Lean and Agile methodology is a merit.
