Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is looking for Service Area Manager to join our Onshore Service Operations Team at Solna, Sweden
As a Service Area Manager it will be your responsibility to set the high standards and build safety culture through visible leadership in order to achieve an incident free environment as well as develop the strategy and business within the area jointly with operational and sales teams through strong customer orientation and relationship management.



Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
· Leading onshore service operations in Sweden, Finland and the Baltics.
· Regularly reporting and updates to senior management in terms of operational performance of the area in accordance with the execution plan and KPI's.
· Responsibility for financial performance including OE, profit, cash flow, and project related assets as well as effective management of risk and opportunities, contract and claims through risk mitigation measures.
· Drive and encourage operational teams to innovate, further develop, and standardize business processes, sharing and adopting best practices – we value leadership, mentoring and development of operational team members embracing company values and ethics including and not limited to safety, ownership, people focus and customer care.
· Ensure effective start-up of operation of the new sites through stakeholder engagement with Sales, Operations Readiness, and Construction and in alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.
· Manage wind farm operations and adopting LEAN and continuous improvement principles throughout the execution.
What you need to make a difference
A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
· Strong/Proven experience in Maintenance, establishing/managing internal and external relationships, and securing and maintaining a safe environment for all operations.
· Qualification in electrical and/or mechanical disciplines to NVQ3 level/HNC/HND (or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience). Engineering background desirable.
· Experience of overcoming challenges of working in a wind turbine environment.
· Strong commitment to safety, health, environment and quality.
· Excellent at building successful relationships (with external, peers, stakeholders and reporting line).
· Able to lead and coordinate an ad-hoc team for a specific achievement.
· Strong understanding of the requirements for optimizing the performance of a Wind Turbine Technician Team.
· Strong at managing and coaching people and the ability to communicate and pass on technical knowledge.
