Service Business Controller

As a Service Business Controller, you will be part of Energy Industries, a division within the Process Automation business area that delivers solutions in Automation, Digitalization and Electrification to our customers, primarily in the energy & water, chemistry and pharmaceutical segments in Sweden.
We have offices all over Sweden close to our customers, but our main operations and sales offices are in Västerås, Kista, Gothenburg and Malmö. In this role, you report to the Local Division Controller. Location can be at our offices in Västerås or Malmö.

Your responsibilties
Acting as a finance business partner for the Business Managers within the Service PG, you will be a vital member of the finance team.
Improving and developing business performance, together with several stakeholders at different levels.
Responsibility for the Service PG reporting and follow-up (result analysis).
Preparation and update of financial forecasts.
Analyzing KPIs and conducting the follow-up on actions taken.
Sales and Product profitability research, verification of deviations from the plan, searching for the reasons for deviations from the budget margins.
Participation in the Planning/Budget process, data preparation and analysis together with the other business controllers.
Implementation of SOX controls related to the scope of duties of the position, supporting internal and external audit activities in this area performed by KPMG, Deloitte and the Internal Control function in ABB.



Your background
Several years of experience in working in financial/business controlling.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics, alternatively equivalent experience.
Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken alike.
Well familiar with SAP and a skilled Excel user.
Excellent skills in building and maintaining relationships.
A strong customer focus and acting as a team player.
A “go and get attitude” and result-oriented approach.
