Do you want to be our new Service Business Project Leader and act as servant leader and be the main spokesperson for Customer Service in the deployment chain?
What you’ll do
To Succeed with our mission, you need to be a servant leader and a strong collaborative person who will align with our stakeholders internal Volvo Car Service Business (VCSB) and within Volvo Cars Research and Development (R&D). In order to fulfill the task, you need to have an overall picture of the program and upcoming releases and a customer focus to understand the impact of our aftermarket deliveries and work actively to optimize our work processes with focus on continuous improvements. You will be responsible for communicating the vehicle release content, timing, and priorities to the teams at VCSB to align and prioritize deliveries. As a leader you need to secure to align, plan prerequisites and synchronies Service and Market Readiness deliveries. Part of your role is to summarize VCSB vehicle launch maturity at key milestones/gateways according to Service Market Readiness @ Vehicle Launch as well as communicate VCSB maturity at Research and development Arenas.
Prepare/explain car releases to Markets (car overview, surroundings, functions, tools, service offers and new repair technologies) is also part of your responsibility as well as contribute with Service and Market Readiness knowledge sharing to Current Model Quality (CMQ) at launch.
Last but not least you will support in solving impediments and take part in continuous improvements based on learnings and secure retrospective sharing with VCSB Base Product Architect.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for a person with a BSc or a master’s degree of electrical – mechatronic engineering or relevant experience within the area. To be successful in this role we see that you have project leadership experience as well as experience of research and development processes within automotive. You have a good organizational savvy and business insights, and you are highly committed to deliver results. A team player with good coordination, communication, and presentation skills. You drive for Pro-activity and persistent in achieving goals and cross-functional improvement.
You are fluent in English, spoken and written. You demonstrate a strong understanding of development processes and agile methodologies. We believe diversity is a strength that contributes to great innovations!
