We at Scania Digital Workplace deliver a wide range of digital services from Microsoft Office 365 to Client platforms. We are currently on a modern journey with the users and value creation in focus. Therefore, a new Productivity and Business interface group has been formed to capture Scania’s business needs and increase productivity by efficiently using our IT services. Now, we need to strengthen this group with an open-minded, self-driven, and forward-thinking Service Delivery Manager – hopefully, you!
The role
As a Service Delivery Manager in this group, you will be the glue between the Scania business and our line organization delivering Digital workplace and Infrastructure services. You must build trustworthy and long-term relationships in both groups, bear in mind these groups have a communication gap not always understand each other so well.
The main responsibilities as a Service Delivery Manager (SDM) are
• Acting as an interface between Scania Business and Scania IT, new demands are constantly coming in and need to be handled
• Having a continuous dialogue with Scania Business to follow up Scania IT performance and end-user satisfaction
• Initiate pre-studies and implementation projects and be part of the steering of such activities/projects
• Participating in the strategic planning to define the desired state, strategy and roadmap
• Secure service deliveries and have them compliant with Scania's operations to ensure the right value is delivered to the business
• Being part of the escalation chain when things are not working as they should
Your profile
You are an experienced professional who has worked previously with understanding business requirements and worked with key business and technology stakeholders. You have a curious interest in all new IT technology and how it can be transformed into workable and cost-effected solutions. You are also fluent in written and spoken English.
To be successful in this role we believe you have a strong will to deliver results with quality and speed. You are opened minded and easy to adapt to change. You are active in finding new ways of improvement and solutions and have a strong drive to continuously learn about our Digital Workplace. You have a structured way of working and presenting, great communication, and cooperative skills. Furthermore, you have high integrity when harmonizing local and central requirements.
