The main objective for Service Desk is to provide support on the corporate IT platform to internal end users within Verisure. On a daily basis you will support users as well as manage innovative projects within Service Enablement.
The tasks include hardware and software troubleshooting, installation and configuration of computers, peripherals such as video conferencing systems and printers. You will purchase computers and peripherals as well as administration of Active Directory, Office 365 and other systems. On top of that you will work closely with the Workplace & Collaboration team to improve and give feedback on the client infrastructure, which means applications in application deployment, security and training in new tools and features.
We will challenge you to bring out your best as you will act as a single point of contact for IT related incidents and service requests within the company. This includes incident and service request resolutions in accordance with our SLA. You will support and troubleshoot our video conferencing facilities and set up configuration and installation of desktop & laptop workstations and applications. Manage user accounts for our various systems and provide IT onboarding sessions for new employees. You will also assign and administer access permissions on shared resources.
You will be part of the Service Desk team based in Linköping, Sweden. Your team consists of 11 sites with16 members in 8 different countries and you will have a close collaboration across the teams. You will report to the Service Desk Manager based in Malmö, Sweden. Our environment is Microsoft Windows and MacOS.
What you bring
To succeed in the role, you should have in-depth knowledge and some hands-on experience in the field of Service Desk.
You have proven verbal and written communications skills supporting end users in a Service Desk environment. Strong problem-solving skill and with ability to apply various complex diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions is required.
