Sales and Marketing has the responsibility for our customer offer and business strategy for Trucks, Bus, Power Solutions, Parts and Services, as well as sales support.

Global support and IT applications are provided to the Scania owned as well as to the independent franchise network creating the right conditions for an efficient retail and wholesale operation.

Do you want to join an experienced team that are developing Scania’s new customer journeys, systems and products to support our retail network & business units to be more efficient and profitable in the Services Business.

 

Workshop and Parts Department is now looking for a new team member with focus on developing our Services Operation solutions. The work will be carried out to a large degree in Scania Maintenance through cross-functional groups with agile methodology as a base. Working as a Service Development Manager you will be a big part of the development for our Scania Maintenance program regarding the system, process and to give relevant business input. This means helping out with our global solutions to how e.g. quotations, cost and content should look like, but also to make sure to continuously improve the user journeys in our retail network. The work will be carried out in close cooperation with our distributors and internal departments with a lot of cooperation with Product Owners, Product Managers, Service Designers and other stakeholders.

 

Your profile

We are looking for a person with high experience within the Service Operation area and previous work in our Business Unit/Retail network is a merit. In this position you need to have the ability to develop and drive our business and processes, but also to put and monitor adequate system requirements.

You need to understand what content is necessary within the maintenance program and how the different intervals are related to the overall cost. The E-mobility will also be a big part of the development for the years to come and you need to constantly measure and improve the customer experience. Knowledge of system development is highly regarded since there is a lot of collaboration with the system development squads belonging to the same value creation team.

The implementations are done together with our service network and therefore you need to have good personal skills and the ability to implement both products and systems. You will be required to act as a trainer and partner towards our services network.

In order to feel comfortable within this role you need to be able to take responsibility, work at the forefront of products- & system development and enjoy the challenge of working with a broad network of people. We believe that you have a wide experience of Scania products, services and processes. Service market experience is desirable. The fact that you are pedagogical, communicative, structured and independent is a given for us. The external contacts in our service network require that you are fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered a merit.

 

Your task


• Develop products, processes and systems within Scania Maintenance with high focus on the user journeys and the customer experience.
• Understand and support the logic behind the Scania Maintenance program in terms of logic, cost, recalculation of plans and deviations analysis.
• Implement products and systems in our services network
• Act as trainer and partner towards the network (incl workshops)
• Cooperate with a cross-functional agile working team, internal stakeholders & Business Units
• Maintain an active dialog with our global reference group
• Act as a representative for the Service Operation area in cross functional projects (e.g.DMA)

 

The team

Within Sales & Marketing we are a team of 11 employees consisting of Products Managers, Project Managers and Service Development Managers committed to enhance the development of the Workshop and Parts business in our network. As a Service Development Manager, you will be able work with an experienced team supporting the global services organisation to develop the best possible performance and effective products. Besides that, you will also be in a group that will highly support you and where you have all the possibilities to broaden your knowledge within the Workshop- and Parts area.
