Service Development Manager

There is now an opportunity to join an experienced team that are developing Scania’s new customer journeys, systems and products to support our retail network & business units to be more efficient and profitable in the Services Business.
Contracted Services department is looking for a new team member with focus on developing our Services Operation solutions and methods to sell services. The work will be carried out in cross-functional groups with agile methodology but also in other constellations to reach desired result.
As a Service Development Manager you will contribute to the development of Scania’s Services business i.e. Services sales, related processes, system support, global business concepts to support our retail operation with the right conditions to fulfill their full potential to achieve Scania’s business targets.
The work will be carried out in close cooperation with Commercial Operations (CO), distributors, and internal departments.
Your profile
We are looking for a person with experience from Service Operation, previous work in our Business Unit/Retail, network is a merit.
You have a commercial and progressive perspective on Scania’s service business, its operation and our customer transport business.
You are a good listener, communicative and have experience from driving change management.
The implementations are done together with our service network and therefore you need good personal skills and the ability to implement both products and systems. You will be required to act as a trainer and partner towards our services network.
Your tasks:
• Develop services sales methodologies (Retails Sales Management – Services), business processes within service sales and administration
• Put demand on related systems with high focus on the user journeys and the customer experience
• Develop Global services concepts together with product owners and other relevant stakeholders at Scania centrally and at CO/BU level
• Implementation projects together with CO and BU’s with regards to service business concepts, work methods and process changes
• Maintain an active dialog with our global reference group
• Act as a representative for the Service Operation area in cross functional projects.
The team
Within Sales & Marketing we are a team of 9 employees consisting of Service Development Managers and Contract Development Managers committed to enhance the development of the Services- and contracted business in our network. As a Service Development Manager, you will be able work with an experienced team supporting the global services organisation to develop the best possible performance and effective products. Besides that, you will also be in a group that will highly support you and where you have all the possibilities to broaden your knowledge within the Services- and contracted business.
