Service Development Manager - Heat Transfer, Service

But now we want to be even better! We’re looking for a passionate Service Development Manager to our MSH Service, Product Sales Department.

So, what are you going to do today?

BU Marine Separation & Heat Transfer Equipment (MSH) - Service is responsible for all after sales business in Marine and Diesel applications, within the BU. It covers spare parts, retrofit, upgrading and services.

Alfa Laval holds a strong market position in this highly competitive and international market. We will take the next step to further strengthen our position, with a Service Development Manager - Heat Transfer, to continue to create outstanding customer experience.

About the job

You will be responsible for business development and global sales, ensuring we have right service offerings, sales material and successful upgrading business for Marine Heat Transfer products (Heat Exchangers & Fresh Water Generators) , in MSH Service.

Location is Lund, Sweden or Söborg, Denmark.

Tasks:
* Global Market Shares, KPI’s, financials and forecasting for products
* Represent MSH Service in EPD & NPD projects both from commercial and technical perspective
* Lead, manage and facilitate service development projects
* First interphase for sales company technical questions
* Drive product/service launch strategies in sync with Global Sales & Global Service Sales
* Define pricing strategies in alignment with Global Sales & Global Service Sales
* Build and maintain the necessary financial structure to track and trace financials (good understanding of ALSIS product & application codes)
* Analyse incoming service tickets and spot the competence gaps in the organization, share improvement areas with the training team.
* Understand and follow-up market trends, prepare a monthly report on each product in sync with the market development
* Build necessary structure for better data driven sales / analyses & product development.
* Responsible for building and maintaining service offering share pages

What you know

- University degree in relevant field, perhaps engineering or business

- Strong business acumen

- Marine business experience

- At least 5-6 years proven track record within sales.

- Passion for Service business

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
