Service Development Owner & LVO
The LVO (Low Value Order) concept covers orders based on cost benefit limits where the third-party provider (currently CAP) releases the order based on SKF instructions. Within this role, the service and support model should be further standardized, developed and implemented. Closely connected to the LVO is the support of Ariba downstream, how IDM&S Purchasing is supporting our users in the system. Currently, this is handled in multiple service models depending on the country. This support and service model should be developed, standardized, and implemented globally.
Today, the LVO concept is implemented in USA, Canada, Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Netherlands and under development in India. Through this concept IDM&S Purchasing is driving efficiency by standardization and reducing admin tasks for operational buyers to free up time to focus on core activities such as negotiations, running project and securing implementations.
In this role you will be part of the new IDM&S Ariba Value Realization Team, working closely with your team and the Functional System Owner to secure SKF stays at the forefront of the tool by sharing best practices, releasing new functionalities and supporting the countries to get the most value out of the platform.
Key responsibilities
In this role you will take lead of the standardization of the help desk setup of one global model. You will collaborate closely with the Strategy and Business Transformation Team, the Country Managers for IDM&S Purchasing, and their stakeholders to develop the solution and secure we reach a higher level of efficiency. You will also be challenging our third-party provider, securing we have the most suitable supplier that meets all our stakeholders’ needs. Furthermore, you will:
• Source and be responsible for the LVO third-party provider (currently CAP)
• Have the overall responsibility for the third-party resource planning
• Regularly review and secure the updates from the third-party providers’ documentation for all countries done by the Country Managers
• Measure and follow up the performance of our LVO partner and the usage of the service to increase efficiency in each country
• Push and prepare for digitalization by driving standardization of this concept to enable automatization
• Ensure the approved “No Purchase Order Lists” are in place and updated by each country to secure a compliant and efficient process for this type of orders
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant area or equivalent working experience
• Ariba downstream system and operational knowledge or similar experience
• Knowledge of sourcing and purchasing processes as well as business process outsourcing
• Passionate about automatization and digitalization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

This position will be located in one of SKF’s major sites.
