Service Director Systemair group

We are looking for an experienced Service Director to manage and develop the Service business in the Systemair group. Experience from service in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning) business is an advantage.

Work description

As responsible for Service, you will identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow.

Your work involves strategic planning and positioning in appropriate markets or enhancing the operation of the business. Your work will often reach across all areas of the business.

As Service Director, you’ll need to:


• Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
• Understand the needs of the customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
• Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and set aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
• Work operationally – carrying out necessary plans in order to implement operational changes
• Have a good understanding of the overall business’s products and services, and to be able to advise others about them
• Ensure that colleagues are on board throughout the organisation, and understand the need for change and what is required of them
• Seek ways of improving the way the business operates

Your profile

To be successful in this role you will have the following profile:


• Experience from the service sector in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning)
• Experience from managing operational service teams
• Strong strategic and customer focus with a clear understanding of the service market
• Demonstrate ability to motivate and communicate with others at all levels and cultures
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Able to adapt and succeed in a changing and international environment with geographically dispersed teams
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages is an advantage, English is essential
