The x2000 Upgrade Project in Västerås is one of ABBs largest and most complex projects and partnering with the leaders of the project you will be part of a challenging and fast moving environment where no day looks the same.
In this role you will to be part of ABB Motion Business in Västerås. The X2U project is focusing on modernization, refurbishment and services in the railway industry. You will be a part of commissioning the trains out from production to secure high quality out to customer.
Your responsibilities
Describe and report failures in a clear and understandable way.
Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on issues detected on train in commissioning.
Prepare and make sure all prerequisites are fulfilled before start of work.
Execute work in a safe way according to ABB standards.
Make sure reports for completed Work Orders are filled in and signed properly.
Make sure that failures are reported to the ticketing system TFS or MaintMaster.
Allowed to make changes/correct the train/vehicle, according to the schematics if an error is found. This must be done in a safe way, i.e. with train secured and shutoff according to known and written procedures.
Authorized to perform maintenance work and to facilitate the maintenance activities for the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance technicians.

Your background
Education within railway.
3 years working experience within commissioning within Railway business
Experience from working with electrical equipment and fault finding.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Fluency in Swedish and English, both speaking and writing.
