Service Engineer - Planers

Job description Since we are moving the service responsibility for Planers to Karlskrona are we looking for a Service Engineer to our (international) technical service team. The work in Technical Services is in general divided into following areas: - Product training and development of training material. - Participate in product development projects with focus on technical service, testing and documentation. - Technical support to our customer centres and dealers when they are having technical problems. - Technical warranty, analyzing and involvement in our quality process. - Technical documentation, support and update instructions, service schedules and part books. This support is given to our Technical Documentation group. - The job in Technical Services requires travelling, approximately 60 ? 80 days per year. Experience requirements Previous experience and/or interest in Construction Equipment, experience from milling or paving is an advantage. Strong mechanical and electrical skills are required. Experience from a service organisation in a custumer centre is a plus. Knowledge Good knowledge in the English language, both written and spoken, knowledge in other languages is an advantage. Good PC knowledge in MS office, Lotus Notes. Educational requirements The successful candidate should have a minimum of a Certificate of Completion from a Technical or Trade School, three years of related experience and/or training, or an Equivalent combination of education and experience. Personality requirements Good communication skills with a strong customer focus and a genuine interest to meet and work with people from different areas of the world since our job include many internal and external contacts. Pro-active with good co-operation ability and able to build strong relationships and on top of this you have a positive attitude and firmly believe that there is always a better way!
