Service Engineer - Test Environment IMS/IMT

Job description: Do you have a passion for a test environment?We offer challenging and rewarding work to provide our users with total test environment services.This includes financial budget planning and follow up as well as planning, configuration, integration, maintenance and support of our test environments and equipment. You will be part of one of the teams responsible for providing our local and global users with network and node solutions, primarily within the area of IMS/IMT.The area of support will mainly be Education Lab Environment.Our unit - Business unit Ericsson Test Environments - is part of the functional area within Business Unit Global Services.We have the mandate to provide the most cost efficient test environment to our users (internal Ericsson organizations).The position is based in Kista, north of Stockholm.Competence: We are looking for a motivated person used to take the initiative - you are a "doer." You are keen to solve problems and do so creatively.As a person you work well independently but are also a team player who puts a lot of focus on getting results on time and with high quality. You should be inquisitive and be keen to learn and to improve things.The work requires self-reliance and the ability to work in a changeable environment.You will have the possibility to use both your social and technical competence in the new area. You should also have: .Knowledge of IMS/IMT .An understanding of the IMS network environment and the roles played by other IMS nodes .Knowledge of TSP (Telecom Server Platform) .Knowledge of Linux, Unix/Solaris .Knowledge SIP (signals) .Knowledge of Ethereal/Wireshark (Trace Signaling) .Good written and spoken English .Willingness to learn, basics of integration and troubleshooting .Ability to work both individually and in a team .Good communication skills with both technicians and management Experience in the following is an advantage: .TSS .RBS/RNC .Windows 2000 Contact: Do you want to experience Ericsson and join our team and be a part of the future?
