Would you like to work in different arenas and with different cultures, one day working with technical support from our headquarter office and the week after being on site helping service technicians in another country having issues with either a Diesel drive line or an electrical drive line? Or why not taking part of building a remote Digital support utilizing new technologies like AR?
Would you enjoy visiting a boat in the Mediterranean and help the customer get back in business representing Volvo Penta Headquarter as a Product Specialist?

Volvo Penta knows the importance of building a life cycle relation with our customers, as we believe this is the key to success. One important part of this relation is the focus on Technical Support.
Within Technical Support you will join the headquarter technical support team and flying doctors. You will support our business partners and customers with technical cases and when needed you will have the opportunity to fly out and support on site.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Support our Marine business partners and customers with a focus on the Yacht and Marine commercial segments on technical issues
Work closely with our Marine Technical headquarter team to resolve technical issues
Take part of the new technologies being introduced

Required knowledge, experience:
Excellent communication skills
Experienced in and interested in working with customers
Technical background and experience
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Any other language skills are a bonus
Workshop experience or knowledge is appreciated
Personal qualities:
A passion for problem solving and finding solutions
Strong relationship building skills
A strategic approach to develop the tech support
Team oriented and with the ability to work alone
Ability to manage peaks in workload
Curiosity of new places and customers
Technical interest
