Service IT Manager

About the position

You will become Manager of our Service IT team and be based at our head office in central Stockholm. You will work with an international and dynamic team of different backgrounds and skillsets with responsibility for installation, support and training for our customers. We offer an international work environment where we collaborate closely with our colleagues and distributors in the US, Europe and Asia/Pacific.

Your main responsibility is to ensure that all installations of our products are conducted in accordance with current practice to achieve the best possible experience for our software operation – all to ensure the highest patient safety.

Your main tasks:

• Manage the Swedish IT team that is responsible for:

• IT Solution Design and Installation of our products
• Customer Support
• Presale IT activities related to prospects
• Product Licensing

• Installation Process owner, responsible for ensuring our processes meet our quality and regulatory objectives
• Maintaining RaySearch’s installation effectiveness
• Strategic planning to ensure RaySearch meets it’s customer’s technology needs.
• Sets targets to his/her direct reports and measures performance against them as well as maintaining a motivating environment at both individual and team level
• Coordinating the work of the local IT team
• Organizing and controlling the resources required for delivering the agreed IT services
• Interface with business unit managers to define support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness.

Your profile

You have probably worked within an IT/Service organization and managed an international team before. Strategic planning and structure building are some of your strengths while networking as well as delegating comes naturally for you. You appreciate being part of a growing company, where working methods and processes are constantly changing – therefore we think that you have the ability to combine flexibility with structure.

We think that you have:

• BSc in Computer Engineering or corresponding
• Experience of managing an international team within IT/Service
• Project management skills
• Full proficiency in English
• Intricate knowledge of the following domains: Operating systems like Microsoft Windows, SQL, Infrastructure (hardware – servers, storage etc), cloud environments, Hypervisors (Citrix, VMware), Networking, Security
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are security conscious and consider it integral to your work
• Skill in conceptualizing creative solutions as well as documenting them and presenting them to colleagues.

It’s an advantage, but not required, if you have other language skills (Swedish is a merit) and experience within radiotherapy/healthcare.
