The Opportunity
We are now looking to recruit an experienced Service Leader to develop strong relationships with key customers through frequent and professional communication and provide daily supervision of Field Service Technicians. Based in either Sweden or Norway, you will cooperate with both countries.
Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
Day-to-day supervisor for Field Service Technicians; manage resources ensuring safety, quality, and efficient operations.
Coordinate and schedule Field Service Technicians and controls field-related costs, auditing field reports (time, mileage, and quality); prepare work schedules and assigns work to maintain and manage technician productivity; provide performance feedback and opportunities for growth.
Manage Field Service vehicle inventory in cooperation with Parts department.
Create and analyse product failure analysis reports in cooperation with the Technical Support and Warranty Manager.
Administer and resolve customer concerns related to Cummins or distributor warranties.
Develop strong relationships with key customers through frequent and professional communication.
Technical support to Cummins technicians, customers and dealers in Norway and Sweden.
Candidate requirements:
Focus on customer needs and be familiar with key Cummins customers
Aware of retail service processes and service support processes.
Basic knowledge of the Cummins Distributor/Field network.
Significant experience in written and verbal communication and should be capable of communicating effectively to all levels within and outside the company.
Attention to details
Solid understanding of how to manage execution.
Manage the performance of self and others through the use of structured tools.
Delegate effectively and regularly with solid support and follow through.
Provide accurate, consistent information on all documents.
Achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved.
Basic understanding and awareness of service processes and tools.
Lead service operations, workshop or field that provide retail or distributor product or application services.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College or technical trade school or equivalent degree
Experience:
Significant experience with focus on technical knowledge of on/off highway engines.
