Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
Powertrain IT has the mission to deliver IT services to Scania’s production units. By being close to their daily operations of producing parts to Scania’s transport solutions, we fully understand what is crucial to our colleagues in the workshops and can judge the impact of new solutions and how they should be implemented. Our team within service management & delivery is looking for a new colleague! Is it you?
What you will do
As a member of the service management & delivery team you will be responsible for ensuring that applications (Scania developed and 3rd party applications) used by the production units are delivered with the right support and with an uptime according to business needs. The role participates in the full lifecycle of an IT service – from definition, to development, to operations and to final decommission.
Your daily challenges will be:
• Make sure service roadmaps are up to date and in line with business needs, as well as communication of the roadmaps’ progress and status to important stakeholders
• Develop, implement and maintain the service management & delivery strategy
• Together with the group and our partners manage recurring meetings, SLA reviews and customer reporting, and take appropriate action if deviations are encountered
• Plan and initialize service improvement initiatives, including financial forecast and cost follow up
• Ensure an successful vendor, contract and license management for the services
• Ensure an efficient coordination, investigation, diagnosis and solution identification for service related problems together with internal and external parties
Your profile
You are a driven, autonomous leader and IT expert with the ability of adopting an agile mindset in the service management & delivery area. You are expected to handle multiple business relations as well as coordinating several IT service organizations to support your business.
We also believe that:
• You have a university degree in IT or equivalent work experience
• You have proven experience from several years in a leading role such as service manager, service delivery manager, maintenance manager, Swedish: systemförvaltare, scrum master
• You can express yourself flawlessly in both Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• It's easy for you to collaborate and you also deliver independently
• You have high conceptual skills, take initiative and have a problem-solving mindset
• You are a driving force in improvement work, both within your role but also cross-functionally
• You can easily adapt to new situations and thrive in a changing environment that is constantly evolving
It is an advantage if you have experience in developing the service management & delivery area and agile methods in combination with ITIL.
