You have a desire to ensure a great end-user experience. It’s with your capability to analyse complex IT landscapes and draw conclusions with holistic business understanding that you enable constant development in IKEA with IT service management and operations frameworks, practices and automation. You’ve probably spent the last years leading IT service management and IT operations in a global context. As a person you like working in an agile, entrepreneurial environment.
You are a big fan of home furnishing and enjoy building a purposeful business by creating engaging and trustful relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and business partners. As a person you are appreciated for collaborative spirit and how you lead with strong focus on both technology and people. You create impact and inspiration regardless of function or formal reporting lines.
You have good knowledge of modern technologies and you’re on top of global trends and developments and understand how they can impact IKEA. You will bring solid knowledge of DevOps success enablers, IT governance frameworks, and preferably certifications in IT Infrastructure Library 4 set of practices and IT governance COBIT or similar. People turn to you for methods and tools required to deliver excellent IT service management and IT operations capabilities. You lead by example and value clarity and communication. We believe that you have a solid transformational leadership experience, preferably from a flexible and dynamic environment.

About the job
We need a customer centric Service Management manager to join our amazing team! You will be a pioneer on the Service Management & Operations journey empowering the business in creating a better everyday life for the ‘many people’ by ensuring an efficient and user-centric usage of IT services! You will focus on strategic and tactical Service Management activities as the main interface between the IT service and product teams. In this role you will be a part of a network of expertise for Service Management and lead and work closely together with peers across the totality of Inter IKEA and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer by applying IT services and technologies in seamless ways for the business. Together you will define, implement and develop service management capabilities, framework, performance and effectiveness for a great end-user experience. You will lead the service management capability at Core Business Range by ensuring met SLA’s, developing onsite support capabilities and making sure the common SM&O framework is an integral part of ways of working. You will empower talents in your own area by securing a competent and high performing team and service management community. Last, but not least your role will be to address opportunities for thought leadership and innovation within Service Management, including adoption of DevOps and agile culture.
As Service Management Manger, you will secure an organizational capability that together with a network of expertise provide a Digital Workplace experience that increases operational efficiency and increases employee engagement for co-workers in Core Business Range.
In this role you will report to our Digital Manager at IKEA of Sweden AB and work closely with the Service Management & Operations Manager at Inter IKEA Group to lead towards uniformity and commonality and translate and implement service management to the needs of Core Business Range.
