Sandvik Process Systems (SPS) is a fast-growing Product Area within the Sandvik Group's Business Area Venture. The operations of SPS are focused on endless steel belts in stainless and carbon materials, as well as steel-belt based process solutions or adjacent technology. The customers are found in many segments, primarily within the chemicals, construction, furniture, oil & gas, food and electronics industries.

SPS presently has service operations in 30 countries; more than 600 colleagues located around the world and the Product Area is organized into two divisions, Belts and Industrial Processing. The business has a global sales & service presence coupled with eight production facilities located in Asia, Europe and the Americas. SPS has delivered a high profitability over the past several years, and is now well-positioned to take advantage of a growing global market within many of its core segments, as well as interesting possibilities for acquisition.

Our goal is to greatly increase the service business through a wider scope, more technicians and new business models. We are currently looking for a new Service Manager who can provide the new ideas required. The position is to be located in Sandviken.

As Service Manager you will immediately initiate strategy work in order to redefine the service business and widen the scope. Your goal will be to triple sales within three years.

Your main responsibilities include:
- Drive and facilitate business activities promoting profitable growth within Spare Parts & Service, including expansion of our Installation and Operation services offering
- Drive continuous improvements in Customer Service centered around optimum condition and deployment of our Service equipment, and 24/7 availability
- Schedule and prioritize field activities in order to ensure optimum Customer Service
- Develop annual forecasting tools to anticipate Customer demand, leading to crisp market coverage plans for the upcoming year
- Effective use and deployment of our Rental Unit offering
- Development and expansion of our Service Contract offering including Customer's lifecycle cost management
- Oversee relevant Purchasing and Invoicing activities
- Lead a team of Spare Parts and Service personnel, focusing on proactivity which will lead to increased revenue

The position involves frequent travel throughout the world, with approximately 80-100 travel days per year. You will report to the Manager for PC Belts.

We are looking for someone with solid experience from service and aftermarket work in international operations. You are customer and business oriented and have the ability to see and analyze the customers' needs. Given that you will be leading an organization that is active in some 30 countries, strong leadership abilities are required: you must be communicative and proficient at creating enthusiasm among co-workers. You should also have the ability to work both strategically and operationally. Good knowledge English and Swedish is a must for this position, while knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
