Service Manager - Gothenburg
On behalf of one of our client we are now looking for an experienced Service Manager. Our client is a global innovative company with a unique approach to the automotive industry, who is now establishing a new service centre in the Gothenburg area. With their ground breaking technology they are expanding in Sweden, and you can be part of that expansion.
The Role
This position requires a significant amount of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical and business acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of customer service. This position is located at the Service Centre in Gothenburg however the role will require travel as needed.
Responsibilities
In this role you are responsible for the business and you supervise day to day operations. You manage service and parts operations at the store level and perform service writing and counsel. As Service Manager you train and mentor your team, maintain records of time, expenses and materials. You perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications. You are efficient in handling multiple priorities and used to meeting deadlines.
Requirements
To fit in this role you have prior experience in the techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles. This includes testing, diagnosis, HVAC service, hydraulic, brakes, testing and repair of electronic systems and modules. You have worked with automotive equipment and service methods and experience of dealer business process and best practice. You have a good knowledge of ERP and DMS Systems as well as the MS Office. Excellent knowledge in English and local language is required.
Education and Experience
We think you have a degree or certificate in Automotive Technology or equivalent experience preferred. You have prior Service Manager and Service Advisor experience, Hybrid experience is a plus. Certification to repair A/C systems and handle refrigerant desired.
You have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions required. You have the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
